RUET Admission Circular 2025

For the academic year 2024-2025, RUET will be accepting applications for several undergraduate programs, including B.Sc. Engineering, B.U.R.P., and B.Arch. To determine candidates' eligibility for various departments, the university will conduct a preliminary (MCQ) test followed by a final (written) exam. The final department allocation will be based on the candidates’ merits and preferences.

The admission process will be completely online, from filling the application form to paying fees and downloading admit cards. Below is the complete admission schedule:

Eligibility

To apply for RUET Admission 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: The applicant must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
2. Academic Qualifications:

• Secondary School Certificate (SSC): The applicant must have obtained at least a GPA of 4.00 in the SSC or equivalent exam from a recognized education board (2021, 2020, or 2019).
• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC): The candidate must have secured a minimum GPA of 4.00 in Physics, Chemistry, and English, and an overall GPA of 14.00 (out of 20) in the HSC or equivalent exam (2021, 2020, or 2019).
• GCE O/A Level: Applicants must have a minimum 'B' grade in five subjects in the GCE O-Level exam and at least a 'B' in Physics and Chemistry in the A-Level exam.

3. Foreign Educational Qualifications: For candidates with foreign qualifications, they should have obtained at least 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and English in the equivalent of HSC exams.

How to Apply

The application process for RUET Admission 2025 is simple and can be completed entirely online. Follow these steps to submit your application:

1. Step 1: Visit the official RUET admission website: https://admission.ruet.ac.bd. Click on the "Apply Now" button and read the important instructions carefully.
    
2. Step 2: Fill in your SSC and HSC roll numbers and examination years, complete the Captcha, and click "Continue."
    
3. Step 3: Complete the application form with your personal details and academic information. Select your group (‘A’ or ‘B’) and upload your recent colored photo and signature. Make sure all the details are correct, then submit the form.
    
4. Step 4: After successful submission, you’ll receive an Application ID and Password. Store them safely for future use.
    
5. Step 5: Pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card, Mobile Banking, or Internet Banking. After payment, you'll be able to download your Payment Receipt.
    
6. Step 6: You can now download your Admit Card for the MCQ exam from the online dashboard. Ensure to print it in color on A4 size paper.
    
7. Step 7: After the MCQ exam results are announced, eligible candidates can download their Written Exam Admit Cards.

RUET Eligible Candidates List 2025

Based on the MCQ exam results, the top 24,000 candidates will be selected for the written exam. After Completion the Application, Eligible Candidates Short List will be Released. The RUET Eligible List 2025 will be Released on 22 January 2025. Only Eligible Candidates can be Download the Admit Card and Participated in the Preliminary Admission Test. The final list of candidates eligible for admission will be published after the written exam results are announced on 13 February, 2025.

Admit Card Download

Once the list of eligible candidates for the entrance exam is published, qualified applicants need to log in to the Dashboard on the official website at https://admission.ruet.ac.bd. From there, you can download the admit card for the Preliminary (MCQ) and Main (Written) exams in PDF format. MCQ Test Admit Card will be available to download from 25 January 2025. Written Test Admit Card will be available from 16 February 2025.

It is important to print the admit card on A4-size white paper, ensuring the print is in color. Please note that no candidate will be allowed to participate in the entrance exam without the admit card.
 

RUET Admission Result 2025

Preliminary MCQ Test

• The MCQ test will be based on the syllabus for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English from the 2024 Higher Secondary Curriculum.
• The test will consist of 100 questions, each worth 1 mark. There is a 0.25 mark penalty for every incorrect answer.
• The MCQ test will be held in multiple shifts, and candidates will be informed about their shift timing through the RUET website.

Written Test

RUET Written Test Result 2025 will be Released on 26 February 2025. However, it was schedule to Publish on 8 March 2025. It has been Published earlier than the Schedule date. RUET Written Result 2025 can be check through the Admission website admission.ruet.ac.bd.
